USA Mr. Robot VR Experience

Learn More

Mr. Robot’s hacktivists lurk in the shadows. But at San Diego’s
Comic-Con? We made the USA Network hit a ubiquitous
presence.

Branded buses, Ubers and a roving band of masked “fsociety” members drew fans to our immersive experience featuring two meticulously re-created sets from the show—Elliot’s apartment and The Mr. Robot Computer Repair Store. Visitors were so convinced, they rifled through papers looking for clues to the show. Further inside, participants donned Samsung Gear headsets to enjoy an exclusive, 11-minute, VR episode.

Among our proudest project “hacks” was using a tension system to hold the large Mr. Robot sign on the facade of a historic landmark building in the Gaslamp Quarter. No drilling, no damage with total adherence to the strict landmark building code.

Highlights

  • 2000+ eager fans waited up to 3.5 hours to get in
