Swarovski Star Holiday Kiosk

Learn More

During the most magical time of the year, Swarovski wanted to create an experience that allowed guests to get an intimate look at their famed Swarovski Star that topped the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and create a pop-up marketplace that would instill the wonders of the holiday season.

Tishman Speyer brought us onboard to manage the installation of the Swarovski Star, which sat over 9-foot-4-inches and was covered in over 3 million Swarovski crystals. Both the star and the kiosk were designed by famed architect Daniel Libeskind, built at Orion HD in Rhode Island, rebuilt onsite in Rockefeller’s central plaza which set the space aglow for the holiday season. It was an immense challenge building this non-traditional kiosk on a tight timeline, but the results were breathtaking. This dazzling 146-square foot pop-up shop shined with highly polished surfaces and faceted points that embraced the glamour of Swarovski. Inside the structure, guests were able to purchase exclusive Swarovski merchandise and specially designed holiday ornaments.
