In the fall of 2017, Extra Crispy partnered with Splenda to promote their new and innovative Splenda Naturals sweetener. productionglue produced and managed a food truck tour that spanned eight cities featuring eight local chefs who each created a signature iced coffee drink sweetened with Splenda Naturals. 

Our team scouted and coordinated with existing events and festivals, activating high foot traffic locations to engage consumers. Guests were offered a free signature beverage, product samples, and information about the new healthy option that could be found on their grocery store shelves.


  • Activations in 8 cities over 6 weekends, utilizing 2 trucks. Cities included Philadelphia, Raleigh, Charlotte, Tampa, Orlando, Austin, Santa Monica, and San Francisco
  • Approximately 4,000 samples distributed in total
  • productionglue services included location scouting and contracting, food truck production and management, logistics, staffing, catering management, and onsite coordination
