Sound on Sound Music Festival

Learn More

Best known for their iconic music festival The Governors Ball, Founders Entertainment was looking to serve up spectacular seaside entertainment through the creation of a brand-new, can’t miss, music festival in Connecticut. A place where A-list artists could shine under the stars and where families could gather to sing along, sipping Chardonnay in a gentle breeze.

Our team got to work creating a strategy for success, developing a master plan that would drive demand and ensure that festivalgoers have a truly fabulous experience. Meet Sound on Sound, where 22 cult favorite bands along with local artists, performed across two stages in Bridgeport’s Seaside Park. It was a celebration of music set in a stunning location – driving fans wild when Steve Nicks, Dave Matthews, The Lumineers, The National, Band of Horses, and The Roots took to the stage. Craft breweries, cocktail bars, and a wine grove paired perfectly with tasty gourmet treats from hyper-local eateries.

Attendees tried their hand at ping pong and foosball snapped pics at the selfie station and relaxed with friends. Elegant drapery formed tented areas that provided a respite from the sun, woven with trumpet vines and bougainvillea whose radiant blooms offered pops of color to passersby. Giant Jenga and bubble machines kept this family-friendly music festival fun for all.

The inaugural Sound on Sound Music festival was an instant hit with fans, serving up a stellar lineup along the banks of the Long Island Sound. Not only did the festival entertain, it gave back to the community by supporting the Adam J. Lewis Academy, Make-A-Wish Connecticut, and Special Olympics Connecticut.
