Inspired by the versatility and iconic style of Nike’s Air Max line, we conceived and executed a fittingly bold brand experience – a gigantic sneakers box – to celebrate Nike’s second annual global Air Max Day.

Dubbed SNKRS Box, this hybrid museum/retail space took over a corner lot in LA’s trendy Arts District, beckoning passersby with pulsating imagery blasted from its LED-covered exterior. Inside, fans journeyed through Air Max’s 30-year lineage with eye-popping exhibits under the floor and floating – a nod to “air” – in multi-colored pipes running from ceiling to floor. After marveling at sketches from legendary sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield and original pairs from limited-edition colorways, visitors converged around a central altar displaying the “One before the One,” Air Max Zero – a sneakerhead prayer answered.
