Nespresso X Tribeca Film Festival

Learn More

Nespresso, the worldwide pioneer in premium, single-serve coffee, wanted guests to have an enhanced experience with their product at the Tribeca Film Festival by producing a mini film fest of their own.

What better way to get the buzz out than to debut a series of micro-documentaries offering an intimate glimpse into global coffee-producing regions at the Tribeca Film Festival. NYC festival attendees flocked to the Nespresso Lounge for a truly satisfying experience. Guests were able to choose from an array of Nespresso coffee capsules. As they lifted their pod off of the tray, it triggered through invisible technology and a whole lot of sensors, a 60-second film about where their selected coffee comes from. It was a magical moment, one that distilled the essence of a large experiential event and translated it into a personal moment that blended seamlessly into the environment. productionglue built the system to allow for human error or indecision.

If a guest were to change their mind midway through the process and select a different coffee blend, the film content would redirect as soon as the capsule was replaced. Through the magic of storytelling and technology, we were able to help Nespresso educate consumers about their Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality Program and the recyclability of their pods.

It was an Oscar-worthy performance, and Nespresso was thrilled to be able to showcase their new Vertuo Plus Coffee Machines in a fun and engaging way.
