Jordan Brand was looking to show that Chicago is in their DNA. Honoring MJ’s legacy by bringing the annual Jordan Brand Classic to three venues for three days of play and putting the spotlight on young elite athletes. Where female and male high school senior basketball players could follow in the footsteps of famed JBC alumni including Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, and LeBron James.

We partnered up with Jordan Brand to bring this coveted event to life. An activation where bucket getters could grab gold through friendly competition and punctuate it with a swish of the rim. At 167 Green Street, teams found inspiration on a practice court high in the sky that bore bold graphics and offered VIP views. At Hope Academy, we transformed the school gymnasium into a branded arena where these rising stars could feel like basketball royalty. Here for a reason read the court as the next generation of basketball stars from around the country competed for glory. The crowds went wild for tumbling teams, drum lines, DJs, and dance squads who kept them entertained throughout the day.

Cheers and shouts rang out as WINGS Scholarships were awarded during the boy’s halftime show – 30+ kids received full-ride scholarships for college. It was the ultimate VIP experience for these elite athletes with an epic entry tunnel moment and their own personalized locker. At the Chicago Athletic Association, players could pop into the glam salon where nail stylists and barbers helped them get Instagram ready, learn life skills, celebrate at the post-game afterparty – oh, and chill with megastar Travis Scott. A bespoke players’ lounge made a powerful statement with felt banners bearing the names and numbers of each athlete.

The 21st Jordan Brand Classic was a smashing success. Helping young athletes level up through competitive gameplay and providing fans with an unforgettable immersive experience
