The Governors Ball Music Festival at Citi Field

Learn More

After a yearlong pandemic hiatus, Founders Entertainment and Live Nation were looking to safely relaunch one of NYC’s most anticipated events, the Governors Ball Music Festival. They were looking for a location that would allow eager attendees to enjoy all that Gov Ball had to offer, a space that provided a centralized footprint and plenty of public transportation.

The new location was such as success that we headed back for year two, working our magic, transforming asphalt into AstroTurf – revamping Citi Field in Queens into a verdant venue fit for rock icons. The fans streamed in from afar for the return and 10-year anniversary of this 3-day outdoor festival. 4 stages and a veritable a sea of talent, hosting some of the biggest names in the business including Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, Kid Cudi, Halsey, and Megan the Stallion. Delish dishes from some of NYC’s best eateries served everything from souvlaki to arancini, doughnuts to daring mashups like a pizza cupcake. Spirits ran high as friends came together for 70 spectacular acts.

Stunning art installations, an NFT Gallery, Snapchat Art Crates, an epic Staircase showcased NYC art and culture, while high-flying inflatables peppered the skyline with color.Mr. Met was on hand for hugs and ballers could meander through OGX’s I Love My Hair Fest, get airbrushed tattoos on the Road to the Honda Stage, fuel up at Dunkin’ and get swinging, or find refreshment at Coka-Cola’s Real Magic. It was more than just a return to live music festivals – it was one for the ages.

This FOMO-inducing, sold-out music festival once again set social ablaze. It also took the media by storm, earning coverage in Billboard, Rolling Stone, Daily Mail, NY Post, Nylon among others.
