Ellen was looking to create a magical experience for the premiere of the 13th season of her Emmy Award-winning show, Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She wanted to premiere the new season live, outdoors, in the heart of NYC. A place where adoring fans could watch live and join in for an electric dance party.

We drew massive crowds to Rockefeller Plaza for two back-to-back shows that were jam-packed with stars, surprises, and sassy fun. With our in-depth knowledge of the venue, we were able to pull off a complex stage build with seating for over 500 in just a few days, with minimal disruption to concurrent NBC productions, area businesses, and the visiting throngs of tourists. We worked seamlessly with Ellen’s broadcast team, and as showtime approached, we were ready for “Action!”

 

And what an astonishing show it was, with guest appearances by Hillary Clinton, Ellen’s favorite five-year-old presidential-expert Macey Hensley, Jimmy Fallon, a skating Amy Schumer, P!nk performing Ellen’s peppy new theme song, and Justin Bieber igniting fans in an unforgettable dance-party finale.

Over 2,500 cheering fans attended Ellen’s season premiere. It was hailed as the best performing season opener in 11 years, truly something to dance about.
