Shop. Listen. Discover. Make. Learn. Depop, a platform that harnesses creativity, culture, and community to transform and elevate streetwear fashion, wanted to host a three-day immersive retail experience in NYC that would showcase some of the most covetable independent designers.

We partnered with Something Special Studios to produce one of the dopest streetwear activations in town, drawing 2,500 style-obsessed people per day. Six stellar DJs were on the decks to get the crowds fired up as they perused curated shops selling reimagined vintage apparel and limited-edition drops from independent designers. This high-octane retail environment hosted engaging panel discussions about whether fashion can change the world and ways to build an empire from your bedroom and offered video panels which showcased the latest fashion trends. Streetwear culture came to life through a dynamic graffiti wall and customization stations that put style front and center. 

This experiential retail activation drew huge crowds that shopped, hung out in the lounge and bar area, and got hands-on with screen printing workshops and patch customization. It was a big score for Depop and streetwear culture, earning media praise with coverage by HypeBeast, Fashionista, WWD, TimeOut, and Flaunt.
