What advice do you have for women pursuing a career in live events? 

Lead by example, be a sponge for knowledge in all fields & speak up.

What three characteristics best describe a successful Production Manager? 

Calm, Ability to disseminate information efficiently & organized.

What are three career lessons you’ve learned thus far

Be aware of how others perceive you. Know what you don’t know and then figure out what it is you don’t know.

What are your hopes for our industry? Specifically, for women in live events

Ability to have conversations and not feel shame for providing/asking for what women specifically need when dealing with the long hours and demands of production while having a family.

What do you enjoy most about being a Production Manager

Seeing a project load in and watching all the pieces fall together that you have coordinated.

What does true leadership mean to you? How do you embody leadership

Listening/Seeing what is actually happening with your team and making sure everyone’s abilities are being utilized and/or they are learning new skills and are not run into the ground. I try to be acutely aware of the team’s full dimension of well-being.
