The Return of Live In-Person Experiences

The pandemic forced the world to innovate and find new ways of doing things both personally and professionally. Together, we learned to make meaningful connections through virtual environments, conduct business from remote locations and discovered that stretchy, cotton clothing is really very comfortable. There were hurdles to overcome, challenging bumps along the way, but we persevered and made it through to the other side.

While it’s been quite a virtual run, we are totally stoked to pal around with our PEEPs again – in person. Yup, we’ve been working with our colleagues and friends this past year, window to window on a myriad of virtual and hybrid events. Some of us accrued miles, navigating safety protocols as we traveled the globe, while others worked safely from remote locations helping our clients get back to business – conducting meetings and connecting with consumers. We built film studios and branded environments, helped students graduate, restarted sports leagues and entertained millions. We even made it through the notorious firewall of China to convene high-level conferences, helped health care advocates tackle the global pandemic, and even took part in building out a vaccination center. We’re proud of the work we’ve done to redefine what virtual and hybrid experiences can be, leveraging technology and know-how to help our partners engage audiences and shine from center stage. The reality is virtual is here to stay. It’s become an integral part of how we all conduct business. We’re thrilled the world is opening back up to a place where virtual experiences will mix with in-person events, bringing people from around the globe together for shared experiences.

As the world slowly opens back up, joy and excitement have found their way back into our vocabulary. The dates on our calendars are being filled with possibilities. We’ve been preparing for this moment for what feels like an eternity, creating and ideating around the return of the live in-person experience. We are giddy with excitement, geeking out over the new technology developed hand in hand with our friends across the TAIT Group – and are amped to share our new mind-bending tricks of the trade. Really, we’re not kidding…it’s epiQ. We’ve been hard at work with our clients, helping to build roadmaps and create strategic plans that will get them where they want to be — planning and designing ways to reengage audiences, grow bigger, build loyalty, and make bold media statements through unforgettable, over-the-top product launches.

Now that the world is opening up for in-person experiences the excitement is palpable. It’s time to come together safely, to sing along with our favorite bands, level-up and explore new realms, and step into masterpieces through immersive art installations. All of our innovation and planning will be on full display this summer and skyrocketing into a steady stream of electric and exhilarating experiences this fall.

Our gluniverse is built on ingenuity, fortitude, hard work, and camaraderie. It’s what makes glue so special. Here’s to friends getting back to doing what we love – bringing people together for powerful human experiences.

You will find us gathering at glueHQ and online, as we gear up for what will undoubtedly be one of the greatest comebacks the world has ever known. Hand in hand we are tackling the impossible – building what others dare to dream.
