In the past, the Governors Ball Music Festival graced the shores of Governors Island, rocked the fields of Randall’s Island, and for the past two years, set up camp at Citi Field. Live Nation and Founders Entertainment sought to amp up the energy of this year’s event by taking Gov Ball to Flushing Meadows, Corona Park, and infusing the event with the raw power of nature. Their vision was simple, layer on even more immersive experiences in a stunning, natural setting where art and music could truly shine.

This is our jam. We tuned up and transformed the Park into a musical mecca that transfixed attendees. Over 60 performers graced 3 stages, including Lizzo, Lil Uzi Vert, ODESZA, Lil Baby, Kendrick Lamar, and Pusha T. Over the 3-day festival music lovers, crazy for the latest technology and merch, connected with top sponsors, rocked out to the music and chilled out at the well-stocked cocktail lounges. From thin, hand-tossed pizza to delicious dumplings, guests were tempted by the arousing aromas of New York’s tastiest treats.

Small businesses from the Queens Night Market showed off their wares and Snapchat made its Gov Ball debut with a snap-worthy AR photo tower that stole the show. The festival experience was amplified by epic activations from over 20 of today’s biggest brands. We were once again able to help Founders Entertainment and Live Nation bring this NYC fan fave to life, as full-service production partners who synched all of the complex components together to produce an experience worthy of this year’s all-star lineup.

This epic, music festival generated maximum buzz across social platforms and earned coverage in Billboard, Elle, Thrillist, Vice and the New York Post. Our work helped to solidify Gov Ball’s iconic status, and ensured success in its new, New York home.
