The Red Sea Film Foundation selected Jeddah, a vibrant modern commercial hub, as the perfect stage for the third edition of The Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF). In its third year, the festival has vastly expanded, embracing international organizational excellence. The festival kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony, setting the tone for an eventful gathering where projection mapping met artistic expression marking the start of a week filled with cinematic wonder. A standout moment was the Women in Cinema Gala, a heartfelt tribute to the profound influence of women in storytelling. Alongside these memorable experiences, the festival also hosted a special Children’s Gala for the screening of “Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, where young attendees enjoyed their own red-carpet moment and opening reception, complete with kiddie tables featuring games and activities. Throughout the Festival, guests of all ages enjoyed diverse film screenings and thought-provoking discussions, showcasing the best of regional and international cinema.
