The Port Authority of New York New Jersey wanted to host a block party, a place where New Yorkers and visitors could come together to watch the US National Women’s Soccer Team try to earn their place in history.
We transformed two plazas at the World Trade Center into the ultimate viewing party, laying down artificial turf and bringing in an 11’x18’ LED screen to watch the game on. To keep the crowds entertained through the event, we brought in oversized games like Jenga, cornhole, Connect 4, shuffleboard, and checkers, and set picnic tables and benches at key areas within the environment. The viewing party drew enormous crowds who gathered to watch the game and cheer the US National Women’s Team on to victory.
