Nike Equality Campaign – All Star Weekend New Orleans

For NBA All Star Weekend 2017 in New Orleans, productionglue held court and stood with Nike behind their EQUALITY campaign messaging with a standout activation. Along with launching their Black History Month shoe line, Nike hosted mind-body-soul workshops for local youth and basketball games between local basketball stars and local area high school students.

glue located and secured this unique venue in the Bywater area in cooperation with local artist Brandan “Bmike” Odums’ gallery warehouse and transformed it into an interactive, basketball-themed space with a focus on community and uniting people.

Reviews for the activation were uniformly positive with special reference to the “perfect fit” between Nike’s messaging with a venue that is the “cultural heartbeat” of The Big Easy, making it a “must stop” for All Star Weekend.
