Zach Wright

With tenacity and boundless imagination, Zach is willing to get his hands dirty at all costs when it comes to figuring out how to put shows in places in they don’t typically belong.  What’s a head-scratcher for others comes easily to him, whether it’s the installation of a large open-aired broadcast studio stretching across the 30 Rock Plaza for The Ellen DeGeneres Show Season Premiere, or installing a massive roof structure into the 2nd floor courtyard of the landmark Old Mint in San Francisco for the Nike+ The Opening Superbowl 50 activation (hint: 13 semis of production gear went through a three foot wide window 15’ off the ground). Zach has also been a part of launching other complex projects including NBC’s Democracy Plaza and multiple Education Nation Summits, Frieze New York art fair (awarded Largest Temporary Stage by Guinness World Records), and helping manage Governors Ball and The Meadows, two of NYC’s largest music festivals. Equally adept at corporate events and programs, Zach has also worked on projects for Goldman Sachs, Viacom, Novartis and Siemens.

With a knack for figuring out challenging load-ins and building unique temporary structures, the running joke is that Zach won’t do a show without a crane involved. His down-to-earth leadership and communications skills, passion for nontraditional venues, and nerd-like obsession with efficiency and logistics makes him a natural fit for productionglue. An avid traveler, when Zach’s not balancing his typical project schedule and solving life’s other puzzles, you’ll find him either on an adventure or planning one – typically with his camera and climbing shoes in tow.
