Robyn Henry

Robyn began her career as a Broadway and Off-Broadway Stage Manager, before leaping into the events world as a Production Coordinator at productionglue. Having developed an enviable set of skills and serious credentials, Robyn is now a Senior Producer focusing primarily on show producing — from mayoral inaugurations to multi-national awards shows hosting top dignitaries and celebrities, to global brand product launches and large-scale activations. You can’t miss her … she’s the one rocking a double headset and answering everyone’s questions. Her proficiency in stage management and production coordination, combined with her creative producing skills, allow her collective skillset to easily transform projects into awe-inspiring experiences. With the foresight to identify problems before they happen, she easily navigates the many layers of an event with a calm demeanor that clients love and respect her for. An academic at heart, Robyn has also served as a guest lecturer in stage management at Fordham University, as well as her undergraduate alma mater, Otterbein University, continuing to educate the next generation of event and stage professionals.

As the Co-Leader of our GREENglue initiative, Robyn is also a driving force behind our sustainability mission, aiming to reduce the long-term impacts that temporary events leave on the environment. She works diligently and regularly to recycle, repurpose, donate, or reduce in all areas of an event. A long-time champion of advancing sustainability practices, she earned a master’s degree in International Event and Festival Management at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her dissertation, “Environmental Sustainability: Case Studies in the Production of Sporting Mega-Events,“ which compared sustainability practices of the London Olympics, the FIFA World Cup in South Africa and the NFL Super Bowl for 2012, earned her a degree with distinction.

When not at work, Robyn can be found training for her next half-marathon, or teaching kayaking on the Hudson River.
