After leaving an education in Chemical Engineering to obtain a degree in Technical Direction from SUNY-Purchase College, Joe moved to Manhattan to pursue a career in the entertainment industry and hasn’t looked back since.
Joe brings a strong background in technical design and scenic construction techniques to productionglue. He believes that with the right amount of hard work, thought, and imagination anything can be accomplished. That attitude has helped him plan and execute high-profile custom scenic builds for productions of all shapes, sizes and complexities. His long list of credits include some of the most celebrated and much-publicized experiential programs glue has done to date, such as the “Vikings Experience” at Comic-Con in San Diego, CA and the A&E “Bates Motel” activation at SXSW in Austin, TX. Always one to feed his curiosity and imagination, you’ll often find him exploring and experimenting with new technology, creating his next big client solution.
Equally at ease working as a carpenter as he is contracting one, Joe dreams of one day owning his own furniture studio. In the meantime he likes to kick back and read a good sci-fi novel or play the latest video games.Joe DiMartino
